We are a group of nurses, doctors and first responders that merged together in order to provide individuals with required knowledge and skills to succeed in your desired medical career. Our office is located in Waltham but we conduct our classes in the most convenient way for our students whether in our classroom or in your desired location.
BASIC LIFE SUPPORT
The Basic Life Support (BLS) course provides healthcare providers and safety personnel with the knowledge and skills requires to respond to respiratory and/or cardiac emergencies with adult, child, and infant patients. Our Course follows Red Cross and AHA guidelines. This program is typically required for healthcare professionals and first responders.
The course consists of online lecture, in person skills demonstration, hands-on practice and case-based emergency scenarios which focus on both individual and team-based response. The BLS course provides individuals with the key critical thinking, problem solving, and team dynamic skills that are required to increase patient’s outcome and survival post emergency.
Upon successfully completed the course, the students will receive a Basic Life Support certification which is valid for 2 years.
Challenge Course: The challenge course provides individuals that had BLS certification in the past and seek to avoid taking the course and jump straight into the written and skills examination. Upon passing both written and skills examination, individuals will receive Basic Life Support certification which is valid for 2 years.
Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, and First Aid
Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, and First Aid course prepares individuals to recognize and care for various first aid, respiratory, and cardiac emergencies in adult, children, and infant patients. Course follows Red Cross, AHA, EEC, and OSHA/workplace requirements. The course provides individuals with the key critical thinking, problem solving, and team dynamic skills that are required to increase patient’s outcome and survival post emergency.

Home Health Aide Training (HHA)
What is a Home Health Aide?
A Home health aide assists elderly and/or disabled patients perform basic daily tasks which include brushing teeth, bathing, using the bathroom, monitoring their health, and reminding patients to take their medications. The tasks required to perform for each individual patient will be determined by the nurse. Typically, people that require HHA assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and Instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) are either injured, chronically disabled, or chronically ill. The HHA assists with maintaining their quality of life and safety at home along with nurses, physical therapists, and case managers.
Our Home Health Aide course is blended thus, students will cover all the teaching online via zoom and the hands-on training will take place at our office location in Waltham, MA. Our HHA program is taught by experienced nurses that started their medical career journey with HHA certification course.
Saving Hands can assist individuals that passed the class and receive their certification with job search in the Boston area. We guarantee an interview and job placement to every student.
To become a Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of Massachusetts, the Home Care Aid Council in MA requires individuals to complete a minimum of 75 hours of training which also includes 16 hours of practical hands-on training. Every individual will need to go through certified HHA classes and pass the home health aide certification exam. The state of Massachusetts also requires individuals that hold a HHA certification to seek 8 hours of training annually after obtaining the HHA certification.

What Courses We Offer
At Saving Hands, you can register for a number of courses that will help you provide medical assistance to people suffering from certain health issues. Choose the courses you need and proceed:
